I’m ngl, this is my favorite trash anime this season. I needed this laugh, because ain’t no way these folks were about to kick back and let Yuhi “handle” a guy who’s MUCH stronger than the girl all of them together couldn’t even defeat. That’s like imaging if the 5 Kage left handling Madara to Ino 🤣🤣🤣.

This girl is legit a preset template who refuses to kill and they brought her on the frontlines of a whole WAR where people are killing all around her 😭. She’s legit one of those childhood friend characters who gets killed off in the first episode and this show wants me to take her seriously??

Speaking of characters, was I supposed to be sad when the loli demon died? I celebrated 🥳! My only problem was with how that whole butterfly teleportation backstab thingy was some Matrix level bs.

They never explain that either. She went from being a monster dragon thing, to being a monster summoner. Does that mean summoners have transformation techniques? If so, why didn’t she use it? Wouldn’t transforming into a dragon or literally anything else have made her a far more difficult target?

Well she did fuse with all those monsters. It's possible she only summoned a dragon before? I don't remember the details exactly of that episode since this whole series is forgettable, but did they actually say she WAS the dragon?

From what I can tell they're actually setting her up to be super powerful, I mean, she is a summoned hero too technically. And they did touch on her confidence being the thing that holds her back and that her actual power is pretty strong. Even the enemy that seemed super strong told her she was a capable fighter. At least that would give her character a little more worth, but they really do keep cutting off any time she is about to fight with the white knight swooping in to save the day.

I want to know why Setsu didn't act similarly when it was Touma on the other end. It's true he was kind of a jerk to this little kid who got stuck in a dangerous world. He never should have left him all alone like that. Aside from being able to protect him better if he were with him, obviously he'd be taught stuff that doesn't jive with modern thinking and morality. It's like asking for him to end up twisted. I absolutely understand why Touma ended up that way and it 100% could have been avoided. Even if he has some issues and darkness in him, who doesn't? Humans are full of duality and nurture is a big factor in who they become.

What you call a prick, others call 'confident' - think about it based on all the other cast members: the main antagonist is a whiny bitch boy that cannot live without Setsu; the silver haired aqua girl is a bitch with too much of an attitude; his friends are ALL trying to fight but don't have a fraction of Setsu's power; and out of the servants of Toma, Melluar so far was a lot weaker than how she was hyped to be. Can you blame the guy for being arrogantly confident if the ONLY person close enough to his strength is the bitch boy? The cast members around him were just made to be too worthless in front of him.

I dropped this anime awhile back but I still come by to check out the comments which always confirms that I made the right choice.

Summary of the Anime. The MC ditched his g@y friend and travels the world to collect rare waifu's then when the MC when back to the castle he forgot that he has a G@y friend that was waiting for him now the G@y friend turns yandare because of it . LOL

It's just bad writing all over the place. The studio is just churning out trash to fill airtime or something because I don't get how this shit could have gotten the greenlight otherwise.

Good, the cute student demon survived. Also, Setsu's arrival could not have come at a more predictable time. I mean with how it looked like what's-her-face was gonna make a last stand, of course the OP MC would show up.

Ooof. This series seems like it could've been much much better, but they just didn't want to take the time to do it properly. So much of this show has been handwaved away, instead of getting a proper explanation via SHOWING the viewer what actually happened. It's like they never watched a good show in their entire lives.
Hell, even if the source material didn't do a good job of it, they can still fill in the blanks. It's not hard at all.
This is a lazy cash grab.
